Organisational Development
For me, organisational development is a natural extension of educational development, just broader and not focused exclusively on teaching staff. In my studies of strategic leadership and industrial-organisational psychology it became clear that many concepts, techniques, and practices from educational development transfer across to leadership, change management, and generic staff development quite readily. Areas in organisational development where I can provide support are:
Strategy and implementation of
Educational change management
Organisational development, training and facilitation
Organisational policy regarding staff professional development and delivery
Diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace
Merits and drawbacks of generative artificial intelligence in the workplace
Institutional readiness for emergencies
Capacity and capability development to initiate, execute, and embed self-sustained organisational change
Development of staff to assume emergency management roles
Organisational Psychology
In addition to organisational development, I provide services in other areas where organisational psychology provides signicant value-add to organisations. Areas I support are
Job analysis for new and existing roles
Providing role clarity and aligning roles, competencies and skills to meet unit level outcomes
Staff survey design and data analysis
Providing advice around staff induction, wellbeing and change management
Programme and initiative evaluation
