Dr Erik Brogt
After obtaining my PhD in science education, I worked as a lecturer in educational development at the University of Canterbury. In this role, I supported academic programmes and teaching staff with tailor-made and research-based innovations in teaching, learning, curriculum, and assessment. I led numerous local, national and international research projects around teaching and learning, professional development, and leadership. I have 20 years experience as a researcher and practitioner in educational development, and am a nationally and internationally recognised expert in this area. I am currently an Adjunct Associate Professor within the University of Canterbury’s School of Psychology, Speech, and Hearing where I work closely with the Industrial and Organisational Psychology group.
With a diverse background in science, educational development, strategic leadership, and organisational psychology I bring a system-level, whole-of-organisation approach. I work to support and enhance employee, leadership, and organisational outcomes, support meaningful and self-sustained organisational change, and create professional development solutions that are fit-for-purpose.
